How to create a Google Account

Having a Google Account gives you access to a lot of products from Google including Gmail for sending emails, Google drive for your cloud storage, youtube, etc.

You do not necessarily need a Gmail account to create a Google account. You can use your existing non-Gmail email address to create on.

Creating an account with Gmail.

NB. Providing accurate details will help you keep your account secure and make other services more useful.

1. Go to Google's account creation page.
2. Enter your name.
3. Enter the username you want to use for your account in the "Username" field.
4. Enter your password and confirm it
5. Click Next.
6. Verify your mobile phone number
7. Click Verify.

Use an existing email address.

1. Go to Google's account creation page.
2. Enter your name
3. Click Use my current email address instead below the "Username" field.
4. Enter your current email address. NB. It does not have to be a Gmail address.
5. Click Next
6. Verify your mobile phone number
7. Click Verify

Now you can log into your new Google account to enjoy Google's product and Services.
