Connecting your dualschock4(PS 4) controller to a phone couldn't be any easier. It is just as you will connect any Bluetooth device to your phone.

To connect your PS4 controller, to your phone follow these setup

NB. The process of turning on and pairing a Bluetooth might vary from phone Andriod and will definitely be different on an iPhone. Please check your phone's manual or a quick search over the internet will show you the process for your phone if it is different from what is stated here.


  1. Turn on your Bluetooth by going to Settings on your phone, connectivity, Bluetooth, and slide the toggle button to the right.
  2. Next press and hold the PS and the Share button on the PS4 controller until you see a light flashing at the top of the controller.
  3. Now pick up your phone and while you are still on the Bluetooth screen in your phone's settings, tap on "scan".
  4. This will scan for all nearby Bluetooth devices currently turned on and visible to other devices.
  5. The PS4 controller should appear on the 'Pair new device" screen as "Wireless Controller". Tap on it to connect the PS4 to your mobile device
